SearchWiki allowed you to customize your Google Web Search results by ranking, removing, and adding comments to them. While the commenting and deleting features of SearchWiki are no longer available, you can now star results that you like and see any actions that you previously made with SearchWiki.
Here's what you can do now:
- Star a result
Click the
icon next to a Google search result when you're signed in to your Google Account. That result can appear at the top whenever you do the same or a similar search while signed in, and it will also be saved to your Google Bookmarks. Learn more about stars in search. - See and edit your starred results
The next time you perform a search where a starred page is relevant, a "Starred results" section at the top of the results page will show the relevant results that you've marked in the past. Note that you need to be signed in to your Google Account. You can see a list of your starred results in your Google Bookmarks
. To remove a star, simply click the yellow star next to that result. - See and edit your hidden results
If you previously removed a result, it will remain hidden whenever you do the same search in the future. These hidden results will be listed in a "removed results" section at the bottom of the page. You can see a list of your removed results on your SearchWiki notes page
. If you don't want a result to remain hidden, click "Restore" and it will appear normally in relevant search results. - See and edit your comments
If you previously made a comment on a result, you'll see the comments whenever that result appears for any of your searches while you're signed in to your Google Account. You can see a list of your comments on your SearchWiki notes page
where you can also edit a comment or delete it.
